Leeds Local Plan

Also thanks to everyone who submitted comments on the draft Local Plan to the Council, we believe that it does help to show that local residents are engaged.

We submitted comments on behalf of the Neighbourhood Forum prior to the closing date in mid-September. A copy of our full response can be downloaded here: Adel Neighbourhood Forum comments on Leeds Local Plan Sept 2025

The next step is now for the Council to refine the draft Local Plan. It will then be sent out for further consultation, probably in the third quarter of 2026. Until then there is little that the Forum can do but once the next stage of the consultation is announced we will review the revised Plan and comment accordingly.
